According to the documents published by the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, the size of the electoral campaign fund of the current president Vladimir Putin, who is running for another term of "galley slavery", has reached its maximum possible amount of 400 million rubles.

Despite all the statements about the pre-determined nature of the upcoming elections, during the first week of the new year, Vladimir Putin became the richest and the most secured candidate. The budgets of other candidates are not even close to Putin's: Vladimir Zhirinovsky's fund totals 200 million, Boris Titov and Ksenia Sobchak have funds of 20 million, and Grigory Yavlinsky has only 15 million rubles.

The most significant donations of 28 million rubles were made by the "United Russia" party, as well as by the regional development support Funds of Moscow, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Sverdlovsk region. The similar Funds of the other regions of Russia also made donations from 2 to 25 million rubles.

It might be tricky for a Russian to understand what are these "development funds". They do not display any public activity and there is very little information about their activities on the Internet, but they do seem to have money. It is known that the Regional Cooperation and Development Support Funds are former United Russia funds that were reorganized into independent companies in 2015-2016. They continue to attract sponsor money from the regions and independently conduct financing of certain projects (charitable, patriotic, etc.). They also sponsor specific political activities, for example, United Russia itself, and now Putin.

This fund system is quite "shady" since it is difficult to see the objects and the sources of finance. Despite the seeming fragmentation and separate nature of regional funds, their decisions are clearly coordinated from one center. But why does this whole structure work from behind the scenes? After all, it actually affects the life of the entire country! Maybe the reason for that is that the government itself takes care of the sources of these donations? For example, through grants, state contracts, contracts of state corporations, sponsorship fees and other ways? The entire design of these funds is to conceal the true character of their work, but their obvious connection to the ruling party is clear, and the likely reason for their existence is to help to preserve this very power.

The head of the presidential press service, Dmitry Peskov, refused to comment on the financing of Putin's election campaign, stressing that he is the representative of the president of Russia, not the candidate Vladimir Putin.

Indeed, there is hardly anything to comment on here, the Russians again faced the shadowy schemes, conspiracies and the special operation of taking the throne for Vladimir Putin once again.

December 25th, 2017, marks the important event in Russian political life, which is going to affect the country's future. The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation made a decision on non-admission of the well-known opposition member Alexei Navalny to the elections.

The formal reason behind this decision was Navalny's suspended sentence, which clearly was prudently organized by the Russian authorities. Navalny proved at the European Court of Human Rights that the sentence was not legal, and the criminal case itself was fabricated. The ECHR decision was fulfilled in an interesting way. The Supreme Court canceled the verdict and sent the case for a new consideration. However, this clearly was not a triumph of law and justice, but a cunning move of the siloviki who then pronounced the same verdict on the same Kirovles case again. Navalny successfully appealed it the second time in November 2017. So we have the new case, the new verdict, and with the previous sentence canceled, the result is still same! An appeal of the new verdict may take years. This way the system played its role by keeping Navalny out of the elections, thus making fools of everyone.

But even having suspended sentence is not a legitimate reason for refusing to register a candidate. Article 4 of the Russian Constitution clearly states: "The categories of citizens who have no right to elect, be elected, to carry out electoral activities, and to participate in a referendum are citizens recognized as incapable by the court and those serving term of imprisonment according to the verdict of the court ". However, in 2013 the Constitutional Court issued a decree limiting the right of individuals convicted for committing serious crimes to participate in elections as candidates. Russian Constitution was expanded and supplemented the way the power usurpers wanted. The initial meaning of the said constitutional norm was completely distorted.

It became known, that on December 18, the Moscow Arbitration Court ruled: "The court decided that the demands of PJSC "Bank Yugra" against the Bank of Russia on challenging the orders of July 28, 2017 to leave without satisfaction." This means that the court recognized all the arguments and actions of the Central Bank as legitimate and justified, and demands of Bank "Yugra", on the contrary, are not going to be satisfied.

A few weeks ago, the media drew attention to the activity of "Yugra" bank which defened its interests in various extrajudicial ways. They involved deputies, the media, the Prosecutor General's Office and public figures. It is easy to understand "Yugra", they use all possible ways to protect their business, interests and beliefs, especially since their methods are legal, though extra-judicial and sometimes controversial.

But there were questions to their "defenders". The media has found the State Duma deputy Nikolai Brykin to be suspiciously zealous about this issue. Especially since during his term as a deputy, he has never been noticed being zealous about anything. But in the bank "Yugra" case he showed an unprecedented fervor in defending the interests of the bankers who were suspended from illegal (in the opinion of the Central Bank) activities.

He was aided by the General Prosecutor's Office, where he has a lot of excellent friends and associates. It is not the first time all of them are on the same side, always acting as the united front even in very dubious matters. In this case, they showed themselves by sending countless requests to all possible instances, speaking with the support of "Yugra" in the media, putting pressure on the court and the Central Bank, misleading the public.

But this time the court figured everything out, and sided with the official supervisory bodies. "Yugra" still has the right to appeal such a decision. But Brykin's biography, which is already filled with dubious stories and accusations of being a "solver", received another rather strange addition. Read Nikolai Brykin's biography and it will be clear what we are talking about.

The head of Russian Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov reported on the allocation of a loan for Turkey, for the acquisition of Russian S-400 systems according to a recently concluded contact. The amount of the loan according to available information is $ 2.5 billion. Detailed conditions (loan rates, for example) are not announced. Apparently, this loan agreement is far from the standard commercial terms.

Thus, a friend who has recently stabbed a knife in Putin's back is going to receive the latest Russian weapons. And the Russians will go an extra mile to pay for another social project to help a friendly country.

The government is not planning to discuss with the people the economic plan and the whole cunning of the deal. Knowing that since 1992 the heads of the Russian Federation, in the person of Yeltsin, Medvedev and Putin, have already written off debts worth $ 140 billion, it is logical to think that we will be able to forgive our best friend Erdogan a laughable sum of 2.5 billion.

Opposition media in Russia are still being silenced. Roskomnadzor, at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office has blocked the website of the public movement "Open Russia", which was included in the list of banned Internet resources that allegedly call for unrest and extremism.

It is known that this spring the General Prosecutor's Office has recognized the activities of "Open Russia" as undesirable. It is said that the organization's activity was allegedly aimed at arranging mass protests, discrediting the voting results, internal political destabilization and non-recognition of the ongoing elections results.

The formal legal basis for the blocking of the site was the amendment adopted in November, which makes it possible to prohibit the Internet resources of undesirable organizations on the appeal of the Prosecutor General's Office without any judicial decision.

In fact, the "Open Russia" website was devoted to political life in the country. It contained published materials of independent public figures and political scientists and discussed the important political issues. It was always interesting to read, as it contained a fresh, different view of Russian reality. It did not contain potential damage to Russian society, however it contradicted with the Kremlin's mainstream propaganda work.
So why did the block it?

Since when the reasoned and justified opinion of the public equals extremism and a threat to power?

Russian democracy in its prime, as always.

As for the end of 2017, Nikolai Brykin is a member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. You are unlikely to find anything suspicious or questionable in his official biography. However, as the saying goes, "the devil is in the details". If you start examining the biography of Nikolai Brykin closely, you are going to find a lot of interesting facts that will make you think about the true persona of the parliamentarian. After all, you might wonder about the harm and benefits the elected of his kind can bring. Do not call me malevolent, but "finished badly" can perfectly describe what is going on.  Russia, as a country, has been banned from participating in the upcoming Olympics. It is a pity that many Russian fans will not be able to see the country's flag or hear national anthem at the Olympic Games, though this is something they sincerely care about. It is also a pity that the athletes who worked hard their entire life to achieve the result became the hostages to this bureaucratic indignity. But we must face the truth! The Olympic ban is fair, and the consequences could have been worse!

The IOC Special Commission has found the "systematic violations of anti-doping regulations and the existence of a system in Russia, which works at various administrative levels and which concealed the positive doping tests during the Games in Sochi". However, they failed to identify the names of the specific Russian officials responsible. With the exception of Rodchenkov, who confessed to doping control violations himself. His testimony became the basis for the subsequent Russian ban from the Olympics.

Now they turned Rodchenkov into a "scapegoat". Russian officials (including Putin himself) blamed their ex-colleague-turned-traitor. They claim that it is Rodchenkov who, being the head of the anti-doping laboratory, allegedly persuaded some athletes to use doping by deceived or guaranteeing them his cover, and did it solely for personal gain.

But for a second, who were Rodchenkov's superiors? Moreover, it is known that in February 2011 Rodchenkov's sister has been a subject of the criminal investigation involving the drug (doping) trade. And it was her brother who supplied her with these very drugs. The investigating made Rodchenkov fell into depression. He began to drink heavily, and subsequently in a psychotic state tried to commit suicide with a knife. Suicide attempt failed, and he was sent to the hospital, and then to the mental hospital. Below is a copy of the official document.
